Our hostel offers added value for the people of Chur in the form of affordable guest rooms as well as various services for the future residents of the new Sennhof. We have been welcoming guests from all over the world since March 2023 and conveying to them the Chur way of life.

MICRO DOUBLE ROOM

Our micro double rooms offer the best that a privacy-conscious traveler can imagine. You have your own bathroom, a small desk to work at and a comfortable bed where you can decide whether you want the mattress to be soft or hard by simply turning it over. We have equipped the former prison cells with everything a traveler needs. Nothing more and nothing less. A minimalist dream in 12 square meters.

  • OPTIONALLY BOOKABLE:

    • Free use of the TV in the common room (we do not have TVs in the rooms)
    • Drinks and food are available at our reception kiosk (the room does not have a minibar)
    • Free use of the kitchen (on the 3rd floor there is a guest kitchen with everything you need for cooking)
    • Daily room cleaning available for an additional charge (for longer stays one cleaning per week is included)

Similar to our micro double rooms, only with separate single beds. For travelers who value privacy more and don't like sharing a double bed. You have your own bathroom, a small desk to work on and a comfortable bed where you can decide whether you want the mattress to be soft or hard by simply turning it over as you wish. We have equipped the former prison cells with everything a traveler needs. Nothing more and nothing less. A minimalist's dream in 12 square meters.

There is room for up to 4 people in 16 square meters and you have your own bathroom. It offers everything your family needs for a great time together. Nothing more and nothing less.

So you really only need to leave the room to take your morning (or evening) shower and of course to meet more other backpackers in our common rooms. This room offers everything your family needs for a great time together. Nothing more and nothing less.

THE LAUNDRETTE

This room used to be the laundry room of the old prison, hence the name. The Laundrette is our most spacious hybrid room. This means you can book it for your group of up to 6 people or just for yourself. Depending on your choice, we will prepare the beds. In this room you have a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and it is wheelchair friendly (for up to four people). It offers you and/or your group of up to 6 guests everything you need for a great stay in an unusual 20 sqm room.

BUDGET BACKPACKER

Our 4-bed dorms are ideal for budget travelers who appreciate the social atmosphere of a hostel. You'll meet up to 3 other travelers staying in your room, but also have the convenience of closing the curtain and hiding out in your own custom-built "Privacy On Demand" (POD) bed whenever you feel like it. You'll be assigned your own locker to store your valuables in, and there's even a micro-bathroom consisting of a sink & toilet in the room, so you really only need to leave the room to take your morning (or evening) shower, and of course to meet even more other backpackers in our common areas.

  • OPTIONALLY BOOKABLE:

LADY BACKPACKER

Our Lady Backpacker Dorm is designed for female travelers who prefer to stay in a shared room without men. Because let's face it, sometimes you just need a break from the XY chromosome, especially when it comes to a good night's sleep. You'll meet up to 3 other female backpackers staying in your room, but you can also close the curtain and retreat to your own custom-made Privacy On Demand (POD) bed whenever you feel like it. You'll be assigned your own locker to store your valuables in, and there's even a private bathroom.

  • OPTIONALLY BOOKABLE:

    • Free use of the TV in the common room (we do not have TVs in the rooms)
