GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS

1. Applicability/Changes

The contract comes into effect when Bogentrakt GmbH confirms the customer's request. The booking is confirmed in writing through a channel selected by Bogentrakt Hostel. The contracting parties are Bogentrakt GmbH and the customer. Requests for changes to a confirmed booking will be implemented as best as possible. If the change results in additional costs, these will be borne by the customer. All changes regarding the number of people, rooms or date of stay are subject to availability.

2. Cancellation and payment conditions

Standard Rate: The customer can cancel the booking without additional costs provided this is done at least 72 hours before the arrival date. In this case, Bogentrakt GmbH will refund all amounts already paid by the customer. Payment of the total amount will generally be charged 72 hours before the arrival date to the payment method specified when booking.

Non Refundable Rate: In case of cancellation, the total amount of the booking is non-refundable. Payment of the total amount is due at the time of booking and will be charged to the payment method specified at the time of booking.

If the customer has booked with special cancellation conditions, these take precedence. For group bookings of 10 people or more and for long-term bookings of 7 nights or more, separate cancellation and payment conditions apply, which will be communicated separately.

3. Non-arrival and force majeure

If the customer does not arrive (no show), the booking will be cancelled. In this case, the customer must pay the total amount of the booking. Bogentrakt GmbH reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time due to circumstances beyond the control of Bogentrakt GmbH. In this case, all payments made to the customer will be refunded to Bogentrakt GmbH.

4. Means of payment

Bogentrakt GmbH can cancel a booking at any time if the payment details provided by the customer are invalid and the customer does not provide alternatives. Bookings must be guaranteed with a credit card. Bogentrakt GmbH reserves the right to authorize the deposited card prior to arrival and to charge it in accordance with the payment terms. All reservations are charged in the local currency CHF and are based on current international exchange rates.

5. Taxes and duties

All bookings are always published including VAT. The obligatory city tax is automatically added to the total invoice and is shown separately on the booking confirmation. The tourism fee is automatically added to the total invoice and is shown separately on the booking confirmation. In return for the tourism tax, the customer is entitled to the guest card. The myClimate CO2 compensation fee is added to the total invoice and is shown separately on the booking confirmation. The CO2 compensation fee is voluntary and the customer can waive it by notifying us in writing after the booking has been completed. We match all guests' CO2 compensation fees with the same amount.

6. House rules

The house rules are part of the terms and conditions. If the house rules are not followed and instructions from the staff are not followed, Bogentrakt GmbH reserves the right to terminate the accommodation contract without notice and to prohibit the guest from entering the building. Any commercial use of the rooms, antisocial behavior and drug consumption are strictly prohibited and will result in expulsion. Services that have already been paid for will not be refunded.

7. Consent and jurisdiction

By making a booking request, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of Bogentrakt GmbH. The area of responsibility is Chur (Switzerland). The invalidity of one or more provisions does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions under any circumstances.
